The Kindergarten Year
Our Kindergarten students are given the individual attention they need, building a strong foundation for their future school success. Students continue learning in multi-age classrooms and become leaders and role-models for others. This experience reinforces their learning and fosters self-confidence in their abilities. Parents can choose half or full day programs for their child. The curriculum meets all Michigan Educational Kindergarten Benchmarks.
Extended Day Class
5 and 6 year olds
Full day kindergarten-age students spend a half day in the 5 & 6 year classroom. Children use the additional time to explore curriculum areas that will help prepare them for 1st grade. Special group projects, field trips, service learning and partnerships with 1st graders enhance this learning experience. These students also have the opportunity to participate in our after-school soccer program in the Fall and Spring.
