Highlights
- Block scheduling allows for in-depth learning in a variety of formats. Basic subjects include math, language arts, social studies, science, religion, Spanish, health and P.E.
- Enrichment courses include career management, leadership, technology, art, home economics, and music.
- Small class size means more individual attention in all areas. Study skills are integrated into the curriculum as well!
- Computers are used in every classroom.
- Guest speakers, field trips, special projects, and cross-curricular studies mean more active and in-depth learning for students. All our middle school students participate in the tri-county science fair and our students are regular winners of the county Quiz Bowl.
- Great extra-curricular offerings – soccer, basketball, tennis, cheer squad, golf, karate and more!
- Student-led service projects educate hearts and minds and develop valuable leadership skills. Each year our students raise over $5,000 to aid projects locally and around the world.
- Our students succeed in high school and beyond! A survey of 55 former students who were just graduating from High School found:
- 54 were college bound (one was starting his own business)
- 15 were Valedictorians or Salutatorians
- 33 were members of the National Honor Society (1 President, 1 Vice-President)
- 41 played one or more Varsity Sports (of those, 10 were Team Captains)
- 9 had been elected by their peers to be on a Homecoming/Winter Court
