- Study skills are integrated into the curriculum.
- Guest speakers, field trips, special projects, and cross-curricular studies mean more active and in-depth learning for students. Our students regularly participate in the tri-county science Olympiad.
- Great extra-curricular offerings – spring and fall soccer and SHU's acclaimed youth drama program "Creative Stages"
- Service projects open students up to the world around them and help them develop leadership skills. Each year our students raise over $4,000 to aid projects locally and around the world.
