Highlights
Highlights
- Departmentalized curriculum – teachers specialize in their subject-area to allow individual tailoring to each student’s needs and abilities. Subject areas include math, language arts, social studies, science, computers, music, art, religion, Spanish, and P.E.
- Small class size, usually 15-20 students.
- Study skills are integrated into the curriculum.
- Guest speakers, field trips, special projects, and cross-curricular studies mean more active and in-depth learning for students. Our students regularly participate in the county spelling bee and tri-county science Olympiad.
- Great extra-curricular offerings – golf, karate, yoga, art & book club, soccer, drama and more!
- Service projects open students up to the world around them and help them develop leadership skills. Each year our students raise over $5,000 to aid projects locally and around the world.
- Our 5th grade class spends a week at YMCA Camp Storer each spring.
