Workers at MDOT and at Lenawee Community Ambulance were treated to thank you cards and snacks made by students at Saint Joseph Academy during the week of Thanksgiving. Students in extended day 5/6 and in grades 3, 4, 7 & 8 worked with their Peace Buddies to create the cards and the "Blessing Mix" snacks to go with them. Every year students work with teachers Jill Ledergerber and Kathy Machniak to thank those whose work often goes unnoticed or unappreciated. A group of 4 students delivered the gifts and the thank yous on behalf of all SJA students, and enjoyed some time talking with the MDOT and LCA crews.
