Hot Lunch Information
Students in grades 1-4 indicate their choice for hot lunch during homeroom (if your student will arrive late, please phone in a request for hot lunch prior to 8:30 a.m.).
Hot lunch is $3.00 (includes drink) and will be charged to your family account. Cash can be used for purchasing milk or juice (.45 each) or other a la carte items (.25-.50).
Free and Reduced Price Lunch
Your family may qualify for receiving a free or reduced price lunch. Children from families with incomes at or below 130 percent of the poverty level are eligible for free meals. Those with incomes between 130 percent and 185 percent of the poverty level are eligible for reduced-price meals, for which students can be charged no more than 40 cents. For the period July 1, 2010, through June 30, 2011, 130 percent of the poverty level is $28,665 for a family of four; 185 percent is $40,793.
