  • School Hours:
    • Before School Care will open at 7:00 a.m.
    • Elementary homerooms will start at 8:00 a.m. and the school day will end at 3:15 p.m.
    • Montessori morning classes are from 8:15-11:15 a.m. and Montessori afternoon classes are 12:15-3:15 p.m. (full day is 8:15 a.m.-3:15 p.m.)
    • After School Care will be open until 6:00 p.m.

  • Drop-off and pick-up: Remember, no stopping/parking in front of the school (on either side of the street) to keep the crosswalk clear and safe for kids. Thank you to the Rhames and Rising Families for purchasing the VIP parking spots in front of the school at our Gala fundraiser--they have exclusive rights to those parking spaces for the entire school year, 24/7.

  • Medication Forms and Policies: Michigan law requires a doctor's signature for us to administer any over-the-counter or prescribed medication to your child. You must supply the medication to us in the original container. Please bring medication in person to a teacher or the school office; do not leave medication in your child's backpack, locker or lunch box.
  • Please note we have students with severe, life-threatening nut allergies. We ask that you read labels and do not send any nuts or nut products with your child for lunch or snack. Thank you for your cooperation!

MONTESSORI TODDLER AND PREPRIMARY STUDENTS:

Please note our classrooms are NUT FREE due to students with severe allergies. Your cooperation is expected and appreciated.

  • You MUST complete an EMERGENCY CONTACT FORM for your child within the first week.
  • We MUST have an updated, doctor-signed Health & Immunization Form - Required by Michigan law. In addition, Kindergarteners MUST have a vision screening before the first day of school so the Vision portion of SECTION II on the health form must be filled out or you must present a separate paper signed by a doctor or certified vision screener.
  • Orientation schedule in effect for the first two weeks--students attend school every other day (schedule will be mailed to you)
  • Montessori school procedures (pelase read before the first day of school)
